This is part two of a three part post. This is my Balsamic Vinaigrette that I have made for many years and is a favorite between Kyle and myself. Since I started making Chopped Kale Salad, this is my go to dressing for it. It is the perfect match between kale and a salad dressing!
For the part one post, check out my Chopped Kale Salad! It is not only a delicious winter salad, it’s full of super nutrients that are a must have for those winter months! It’s is chocked full of hearty crunchy seasonal vegetables that are readily available in the grocery store during those cold months.
Here’s how I make it.
Balsamic Vinaigrette
In a small bowl, pour the balsamic vinegar in with the extra virgin olive oil.
Add the sugar and…
Dry Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix, salt and pepper.
Whisk until well combined.
I also have this really cool old fashion hand mixer (pictured on right). I love it! Sometimes I use it instead of a regular wire whisk. The wire attachments snap right off for easy cleaning! Just saying…
NOTE: If you have a hand blender, you can certainly use it for mixing this salad dressing together. I do find it to blend the oil and balsamic vinegar together easier than whisking, but only blend it for a few seconds. It will thicken too much if you blend it too long.
Pour salad dressing into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for several days. Just shake it up a bit to mix together before serving.

I love these cute jars with a plastic spout tops. They’re not only pretty, but quite practical! I find them in the salad dressing isle of the grocery stores.
Here’s the printer friendly recipe.
This Balsamic Vinaigrette has a deep richness that you don't find in many others. It's my true favorite salad dressing ever!

- 1 Tablespoon dry ranch dressing mix

- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for several days.

Notes
Just a note about using a hand blender for making this salad dressing. I do find it to blend the oil and balsamic vinegar together easier than whisking, but only blend it for a few seconds. It will thicken too much if you blend it too long.
